More than 200 MBF employees focus on delivering innovative and sustainable products to farmers around the world that help them to bring better harvests while using fewer inputs. These products get their start in our research and development pipeline, where our researchers look to bring the best inputs to farmers’ fields. Our robust pipeline spans more than a dozen crops and technologies in different phases of development. These products find a place in one of three areas of the pipeline— Biotechnology, Agronomics and New Technology Platforms.
As farmer needs evolve, so does our research and development pipeline. Today, we are focused on delivering systems of products that work together to address the challenges farmers face and maximize their ability to bring more balanced meals to consumers around the world. Because the world population is expected to reach 9.6 billion people by 2050, farmers will need access to tools and technologies to help feed a growing population. MBF researchers are working on solutions for farmers that can have an impact in the near-term and long-term.
